Leather Sword Frogs / Sword Hangers
This leather sword hanger is perfect for any small to medium ("hand-and-a-half") sword.
We offer
these sword frogs/ hangers for right or left handed draws. We also offer
them in a universal, strait up and down,
which can sit on either side of the hips.
As one can see this sword frog is built to be functional as well as look good.
This sword hanger hangs from your belt by a three inch roll over, not a couple
of flimsy straps. This will keep your sword where you want it and also
keep it balanced for comfort and reduces the movement while you walk. The
sword frog is designed to fit at least a 2 inch ring belt.
The sword
hanger is made from 9-11 oz oil tanned leather. The leather is heavy duty
but not brittle or cardboard feeling.
Lace your sword's scabbard into the sword hanger with
the 1/2" wide leather straps. This looks much more period and holds much
tighter than the typical nylon cord.
