Leather Mug Hanger / Mug Frog
The finest simple leather mug frog / mug hanger for medieval Renaissance Faires and wedding costume, SCA garb, LARP or gothic costumes, Pirate Festivals, role playing, or theater costuming.
This unique trademark mug frog / mug hanger design is made 1-1/2 inches wide with the 'cross-punched' slot. We punch a thick leather disk and rivet that to the end of the hanger strap with an extra-long rivet and thus creating what somewhat resembles a leather-topped post. The disk is then inserted into the punched whole and slid to the base to secure your drinking mug firmly. This makes it attractive and strong - no snaps to wear out!
This 'leather-to-leather latching' design creates a much firmer 'grip' reducing the chances of easily slipping loose much like the 'string and button' design often used by other leather shops.
This mug hanger is a fantastic complement for any garb outfit!
Made 9-11 oz. oil-tanned belt leather.
The mug hanger's fastening loop is usually around 4-5 inches, so it will fit most mug handles. But, if you have need of a specific size, just let us know, we'll try to accommodate you.
The belt loop on this mug frog is large enough to easily accommodate well over a 2" wide ring belt.
This mug frog / mug hanger is made with strong capped rivets will last a lifetime.
